Blue Eyes
You have eyes of powder blue
and when you speak
the words are true
This color gives me such satisfaction
for me to flinch
Is a natural reaction
Your eyes give off light
that brightens my whole day
when im blind they give me sight
so I can find my way.

Whoa!
My lady has at times described MY eyes somewhat that way, though hardly as poetically. In fact, she's admitted that she hesitated (at first) to get involved with me because said eyes clearly saw into depths she'd thought were safely blocked from view.
Fortunately, she didn't notice the bloodshot aspect until much later. :)
